The idea of a driverless car is not new. Now there are already cars on the road that can park themselves. But a truly self-driving car, one that can drive itself, is being tested by scientists and engineers.

even before they are seen by a person. By using radars and cameras, the cars can analyse information about their surroundings faster than a human can.

Self-driving cars could make transport safer for all of us by eliminating the cause of most of today’s accidents.
