There are a lot of special festival in vietnamese but i like best is lunar new year because it is also an occasion for pilgrims and family reunions . Lunar new year usually happens in February and in the Vietnamese regions can be divided into three periods, known as penultimate New Year’s Eve , New Year’s Eve and the New Year . Lunar New Year usually lasts about 7 to 8 days at the end of the old year and the first 7 days of the new year . In the lunar year my family usually make banh chung , sticky rice and make five – fruits – tray , worship the ancestors . In the new year eve children receive a red envelope containing money from their adults . I adore lunar new year because tet is very meaningful for me
