My hometown is Hung Yen, a small beautiful city of Hung Yen province, which located inthe center of the Red River Delta of Vietnam. It is about 65km from the capital Hanoi. HY is in important economic areas of the north Vietnam with very low hills consecutivelyHY has no forests , mountains and sea. HY city is small with the square of about 48km2. Therefore there aren’t so many people live in HY city. With the total population of approximately 1,3 bilion people, HY brings its dwellers a comfortable life.My city is well known in Vietnam (especially with historians) with Pho Hien, an ancient port-city located in the area. There are still a lot of ancient Asian temples, pagodas and other religious building here. Hungyen temple of Literature is a Confucian Temple located in HY.C. It is also known as Van Mieu Hung Yen or Van Mieu Xich Dang. Moreover, HY has Mau Temple, Ung Temple, Chuong Pagoda… HY is also well known for half Lake, an alluring lake in the final of the city. Itsname is origined from the lake’s shape which is like a half. My hometown has 2 big markets, Rice Martket and Pho Hien Market where I often went shopping with my mom or my friends. One of specilists in HY is caged-longan or Nhan Long. In history, this was a compulsory kind of fruit to be consecrated to The Kings. Being born and grown up in a traditional land as Hy, I love this small city so much. HY isreally small, really peace. It is not as narrow as Hnoi, not as noise as HCM city. I can travel all over this city in only a half of day. No pollusion, no natural calamaty, HY is really living-worth city. After 18 years ling in HY city, I now have to move to Hanoi to continue my study at university. Each weekend I often turn back to my home in city. However, stranly, I miss this pretty city even after lieving. I will never forget my childhood with many memories by together my friends, HY
-Hi everyone, I am Nhung and today I will tell you about my hometown. I come from Hungyen which is a province in the North of Vietnam. There are not many buildings and constuctures here so the air is more fresh and clean than in the city. The weather is nice and it will comfort you and make you happy. The specialties of my hometown is Longan fruite. People in my country enjoy eating it so almost every houses grow them for selling. Everyone lives here take care of each others, they live like a big family. In the evening, people in a neighborhood always gather in the large yard and chatting toghether after a long day of work. I love my hometown and the people here so much and I think, it does not matter how far you can go but hometown is always a place where you can come back anytime you want.
