Nowaday, there are many traffic problems in my town. There are three reasons why this happen. First, the roads are poor-quality with bumby roads. It makes motorists be difficult to solve the situation, so it’s easy to cause accidents. Secondly, there are too many vehicles in the street. This leads to traffic jams. Finally, young people ride their motorbikes dangerously. For exemple, they ride very fast without wearing a helmet or using both hands on the handbar. In short, we should be aware of obeying the traffic rules to avoid traffic accients.

ENGLISH: At present, traffic safety is one of the major issues concerned by the whole society. Slogans such as: Safety is friend, accident is enemy ”, traffic safety is happiness for all families”… were posted on all roads. It is like a reminder as well as a warning that people in traffic should strictly obey the traffic safety laws to bring their safety and family happiness. But the number of traffic accidents every year has not decreased, in contrast, it has increased a lot. Every year, Vietnam has nearly a thousand traffic accidents. In the past 10 years, the number of traffic accidents has quadrupled. All causes of the accident stem from ignorance of the Traffic Law. It is time for us to come up with more effective and creative, proactive and active measures to educate young people to be aware of obeying the law when participating in traffic. This responsibility belongs to the school, the family and the whole society. President Ho Chi Minh once taught: It is difficult for those who have virtue but not have the talent to do anything, but having talent without virtue is also useless ”. Therefore, we need to pay more attention to ethical education for pupils and students, but first of all, educating citizenship. Improving school traffic not only contributes to reducing traffic accidents, but more importantly, educates the legal awareness for future generations. VIETNAMESE: Hiện nay an toàn giao thông đang là một trong những vấn đề lớn được cả xã hội quan tâm. Những khẩu ngữ như: An toàn là bạn, tai nạn là thù”, An toàn giao thông là hạnh phúc cho mọi nhà”… được giăng lên ở khắp các nẻo đường. Nó như một lời nhắc nhở cũng là lời cảnh báo những người đang tham gia giao thông hãy chấp hành nghiêm chỉnh luật an toàn giao thông để đem lại an toàn cho mình và hạnh phúc cho gia đình. Thế nhưng số vụ tai nạn giao thông hằng năm vẫn không hề suy giảm, ngược lại còn tăng lên rất nhiều. Cứ mỗi năm Việt Nam có tới gần một ngàn vụ tai nạn giao thông. Trong vòng 10 năm qua, số vụ tai nạn giao thông đã tăng gấp 4 lần. Tất cả những nguyên nhân gây ra tai nạn đều bắt nguồn từ sự thiếu hiểu biết về Luật Giao thông. Đã đến lúc chúng ta cần đưa ra những biện pháp hữu hiệu và sáng tạo hơn, chủ động và tích cực hơn để giáo dục lớp trẻ ý thức chấp hành pháp luật khi tham gia giao thông. Trách nhiệm này thuộc về nhà trường, gia đình và toàn xã hội. Chủ tịch Hồ Chí Minh từng dạy: Người có đức mà không có tài làm việc gì cũng khó nhưng có tài mà không có đức thì cũng vô dụng”. Chính vì vậy, chúng ta cần quan tâm hơn nữa đến giáo dục đạo đức cho học sinh, sinh viên, mà trước hết là giáo dục ý thức công dân. Chấn chỉnh giao thông học đường không chỉ góp phần làm giảm thiểu tai nạn giao thông, mà quan trọng hơn là giáo dục ý thức pháp luật cho thế hệ tương lai. Tuổi trẻ chúng ta mầm sống của đất nước, là nguồn nhân lực dồi dào phát triển đất nước. Các bạn trẻ hãy ý thức rằng: “Tử thần không ở đâu xa, mà ở cạnh bên bạn trên từng cây số ” Hãy quý trọng mạng sống bản thân cũng như tôn trọng sinh mạng người khác.
