One of the most intriguing features of Sapa is its weather. It is said that you can experience four seasons in one day. Chilly winter in the early morning, springtime after sunrise, summer in the afternoon and cold winter at night. Sapa is home to many ethnic minorities like Hmong, Muong, Thai, Hoa, to name a few, with rich cultural diversities. The best way to learn and explore local customs is to live like a local. I would recommend a homestay if you love the authentic mountainous lifestyle. People are so hospitable that they would introduce you to everyone within the vicinity and welcome you with open arms. Traditional markets on weekend is another thing you can’t miss where handicrafts, ethnic style clothing, fresh produce, medicinal herbs and other tribal artworks are on display. All those things make Sapa an exceptional attraction for foreign travellers who wish to discover Asia’s, especially Vietnam’s culture.
In the area where I live, there is a beautiful scene and it is also considered as a famous tourist place of Vet Nam – Sam Son beach. Sam Son is a beautiful beach with clear and cool sea water. Fresh air, airy. There is a min white sand beach over 10 km long. Sam Son has a lot of precious seafood. Coming to Sam Son, we will mingle with the immense sea reflecting the graceful Truong Le mountain; listening to the symphony of the sea and mountains with the sound of waves crashing on the shore, with rows of green coconut trees, casuarina trees fluttering in the wind, kite flute sounds awakening the blue sky… The sky was rosy on the horizon, each group of fishing boats of Nui village’s fishermen returned from a night of fishing far out at sea. When the sun gradually rises, Sam Son beach sparkles with gold, each wave claps the white shore embracing the smooth sand strip shining in the sun, the kites are brilliant among the blue of the sky, the mountains and the sea. … In the afternoon, the weather was cool, the beach gathered a lot of people to swim. At Sam Son night, the sea is dim under the moonlight and stars, still waves crashing on the shore, but it seems calmer. I love this place so much
