  1. Among the many special dishes in Ha Noi, pho is the most popular. It is a special kind of Vietnamese soup. We can enjoy pho for all kinds of meals during the day, from breakfast to dinner, and even for a late night snack. Pho has a very special taste. The rice noodles are made from the best variety of rice. The broth for pho bo (beef noodle soup) is made by stewing the bones of cows for a long time in a large pot. The broth for another kind of pho, pho ga (chicken noodle soup) is made by stewing chicken bones. The chicken meat served with pho ga is bonelessand cut into thin slices… It’s so delicious!

  2. I love to eat a lot of different dishes, but my all time favorite is Pho. Pho is already a very famous dish in Vietnam, and most people will immediately think of it when we mention Vietnamese cuisine. It is understandable that there are so many people who love Pho, because it has a very unique taste that we cannot find anywhere else. To get a pot of delicious soup, we have to have many different spices like anise, cinnamon, etc., and the most important thing is the bone. The bones have to be cooked for a long time to get a pot of delicious and sweet broth, and then we mix with the other ingredients. Noodles is also very special when it is not like other types of noodles and vermicelli. It’s made from rice flour, and it’s thicker than the others. After pouring the broth into the cake bowl, the next step is to top the slices of beef and other dishes. I like to eat undercooked beef and beef balls, and those are also typical dishes that Vietnamese people love to eat. We finish Pho with some basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, and black pepper. Besides, we can also have side dishes like eggs and beef blood in boiling soup. All of them create a harmonious taste that can appeal to even the most demanding diners. Although Pho has many versions from different regions, it has always been the national dish that most Vietnamese are very fond of. I’ve been eating Pho for almost twenty years now, and I will still consider it my favorite food.
