– Vì ở câu gốc “He was punished because he went out late last night.” là ở quá khứ `->` chuyển sang câu điều kiện thứ 3

Mà ở câu trên, vế chính (sau IF) ở dạng bị động nên ta chia thành “would have+ been + P2”
