1. A taxi would have been best. But I didn’t have much money.
2. A picnic would be nice. But it’s wet.
3. All my guests will need chairs. But I haven’t got very many.
4. I couldn’t carry the equipment. I had such a lot.
II. So..that
1. Grandpa help me tighthy when he hugged me, I couldn’t breathe for a moment.
2. I hve many problems. I can use the help you can give me.
3. I can’t figure cut what this sentence says. His hand writing is illegible.
4. It took us only ten minutes to get there. There was little traffic
