Lan is a student from Hanoi and last holiday she visited New York City, USA with her parents. During a souvenir shopping, Lan’s mother was very interested in the fabric bag so she asked the seller for the price. But because she can speak English, she just awkwardly looked at the shopkeeper and pointed at the bag. The shopkeeper did not understand Lan’s mother, so he shook his head and said “No, no”. Luckily, with her English knowledge at school, Lan helped her mother ask the seller price: “How much is this bag?”. The shopkeeper immediately understood and replied: “Only $ 5”. Very quickly, Lan helped her mother buy a bag that her mother liked very much.
