Ngoài ra còn cả nhưng trang mạng xã hội như Facebook, Instagram,… và các trang giải trí khác để con người có thể giải tỏa căng thẳng. Một vấn đề gần đây là sự phát triển của các dịch vụ mua bán và làm việc online khiến các người làm việc phải bỏ thời gian lên mạng nhiều hơn. Ví dụ, tôi muốn học về địa lý ở Mỹ, thì tôi chỉ cần lên Google và gõ, chỉ sau vài giây đã có được đáp án. Vì thế nếu biết sử dụng đúng đắn Internet thì nó sẽ giúp chúng ta rất nhiều

Mặt khác, nhiều người đặc bệt là giới trẻ có chứng nghiện mạng xã hội và nghiện game, điều nà đang diễn ra thường xuyên ở những gia đình cha mẹ ít chú ý tới con cái. Hơn thế nữa, trên mạng có nhiều nguồn tin chưa được kiểm chứng và các bạn trẻ rất dễ tin vào các thông tin sai lệch đó dẫn tới các tệ nạn xã hội gia tăng. Vì thế người trẻ cần lựa chọn và có niềm tin đúng đắn vào các khái niệm trên mạng. Ví dụ, tôi muốn mua đồ qua mạng, trên các trang mạng người ta quảng cáo rằng nó được sản xuất ở này ở nọ và được kiểm chứng rõ ràng,… nhưng không ai biết được nó tốt hay xấu cả…

Qua đó, ta thấy rõ lợi và hại của việc mọi người dành thời gian trên Internet.
