Air pollution is a cause of ill-health in human beings. In a lot of countries there are laws limiting the amount of smoke which
factories can produce. Although there isn’t enough information on the effects of smoke in the atmosphere, doctors have
proved that air pollution causes lung diseases. The gases from the exhausts of cars have also increased air pollution in most
cities. The lead in petrol produces a poisonous gas which often collects in busy streets surrounded by high buildings.
Children who live in areas where there is a lot of lead in the atmosphere can’t think as quickly as other children and are
clumsy when they use their hands. There are other long-term effects of pollution. If the gases in the atmosphere continue to
increase, the earth’s climate may become warmer. A lot of the ice near the Poles ma melt and may cause serious floods.
Air pollution is a very difficult thing. Even if it’s just a small act like riding a car, it creates emissions that pollute the environment. Air pollution causes serious respiratory illnesses. Leading in pertrol produces a poisonous gas that normally collects on busy streets surrounded by tall buildings. Children living in lead-rich areas in the atmosphere cannot think as fast as other children and are clumsy when they use their hands. A doctor has found that air pollution causes lung disease. Air pollution is a significant risk factor for a number of pollution-related diseases and health conditions including respiratory infections, heart disease, COPD, stroke and lung cancer. Health effects from air pollution can include difficulty breathing, wheezing, coughing, asthma, and exacerbation of respiratory and cardiovascular health. These effects can lead to increased drug use, increased doctor or emergency room visits, increased hospitalization, and premature death. The effects of human health on poor air quality are enormous, but mainly affect the respiratory system and cardiovascular system. Individual responses to air pollutants depend on the type of pollutant a person is exposed to, the level of exposure, and the individual’s health and genetic status. The most common sources of air pollution include particles, ozone, nitrogen dioxide, and sulfur dioxide. Children under 5 years old living in developing countries are most vulnerable to the number of deaths from indoor and outdoor air pollution.
