The festival was held in the communal house yard about one kilometer away from a river. There were (1) Competitions: fire-making, water-fetching and rice-cooking. The festival took on (2) in the water-fetching contest one person from each team had to run to the river to get the (3) .in the fire -making contest two team members had to make a fire in the (4) way. They tried to rub pieces of bamboo together to (5) the fire. Six people from each team took part (6) the rice-cooking contest. They had to separate the rice from the husk and the cook the rice. After the three contests, all the points were added and the thon trieu gruop won the grand prize the festival was wonderful.
