I used to attend the Tet Holiday Flower festival. It’s called Nguyen Hue Flower street Festival. It is held in Nguyen Hue Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. It takes place every Tet Holiday for 1 week. It is celebrated by Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee. They display and decorate the street with many kinds of flowers and lights. Many people come there to enjoy the beautiful flowers and take pictures.
There are a lot of festivals in Vietnam but I like Tet best. Tet is a traditional festival in Vietnam. It’s the most important celebration for Vietnamese people. It’s time for all family members to gather. It takes place in late January and early February. It is held in every Vietnamese family. Before Tet, Vietnamese people often clean and decorate their houses. Many people also decorate their houses with beautiful peach blossoms and apricot blossoms… and make Chung cake, special food with family. During Tet, we go to the pagodas to pray for a good year with family, we visit relatives and get lucky money. I think, Tet festival is very interesting and traditional and I like Tet so much.

Ở Việt Nam có rất nhiều lễ hội nhưng tôi thích nhất là Tết. Tết là một lễ hội truyền thống ở Việt Nam. Đó là lễ kỷ niệm quan trọng nhất đối với người Việt Nam. Đã đến lúc tất cả các thành viên trong gia đình quây quần. Nó diễn ra vào cuối tháng Giêng và đầu tháng Hai. Nó được tổ chức trong mỗi gia đình Việt Nam. Trước Tết, người Việt thường dọn dẹp, trang hoàng nhà cửa. Nhiều người còn trang trí nhà cửa bằng hoa đào, hoa mai … đẹp mắt và làm bánh Chưng, món ăn đặc sản cùng gia đình. Trong dịp Tết, chúng ta đi lễ chùa để cầu một năm tốt lành với gia đình, thăm họ hàng và lì xì. Tôi nghĩ, Tết rất thú vị và truyền thống và tôi rất thích Tết.
