My background first. I belong to an upper-middle-class family. I was good in studies and was an introvert. Right now I am 17 years old preparing for my class 12 boards. Father is in a government job and my mother is a housewife. We live in quarters provided for the government employee.
For my school, I go to the best in my locality which is about 15 kilometers away from the place I dwelled.
Being a bright student I never required a tuition for any subjects and also my school was far away I didn’t know about almost 98% people in my township. No friends because I was never a kind of person who loves to make friends and love my own company.
The only person I would share my problem my neighbor who was 6 years older to me ( let’s call her Amrita). She always treated me like her younger sister.
When I was merely in class 8 I secured fewer marks in my maths exams to which my parents were very serious. My father talked to his friend about this and he suggested that I should join tuitions for maths. I was not ready for this as I never liked to move out of my house or colony ( as I suffered from sexual abuse when I was just 12 years old about which my parents are still unaware of .)
There was a guy in my colony just 2 house away from me and is very older than me like 28–29 years old. He used to stalk me where ever I used to go and would stare at me so badly that I would feel from inside that please god either kill him or kill me.
So this staring and all was going on for about a year, Then one day I was late for my tutions that someone was hiding behind the stairs, I ignored and thought maybe someone is standing there just to protect himself from the rain I entered I saw him (let us call him Angad) standing there. I was shivering out of fear because there was no who could help me the only one was my tuition teacher I was just going to scream he came closer to me and closed my mouth and asked me to just listen what he was saying and after this he would never stalk me.
I was crying in fear my heart was just shouting that how can he touch me? How can anyone in this whole world touch me without my permission?
Then I decided I would listen to what he says because he has just promised me that he will stop all this if I listen to him and don’t say anything to anyone. I was ready for this agreement. Next what he did was took out a few gifts and proposed to. I was stunned as if my heart would blast today of fear. Then he asked me to either accept his proposal or reject it. To which I replied No and asked him to keep his promise that he won’t ever try to contact me or stalk me to which he said ok.
