Five years ago, I attended a very big festival in Ha Noi. It’s called 1000th Anniversary of Thang Long – Ha Noi Festival. There are a lot of activities in this festival such as fireworks display, military parade, music performances, ect. It was organized very splendidly because the organizers are the Viet Nam government. Millions of people came to Ha Noi to participate in this great festival. It was held for ten days from October 1st 2020 to October 10th 2020.1 saw lots of fireworks, parties, parades during these days. It was interesting. I took so many pictures on this festival because there were plenty of beautiful scenes. We organized this great festival to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long – Ha Noi.
In my hometown there is a huge association. It is buffalo fighting festival in Do Son – Hai Phong, famous all over the country. Our people have a saying: “No matter where people go to sell, on the ninth of August, they will fight buffalo”. On the festival day, tourists from everywhere come to see the festival very crowded. Before starting to fight buffalo, there was a very special traditional flag dance. After that, the village elders led the buffalo to start a buffalo fighting festival. The first buffalo is number 87. The second buffalo is number 89. The buffalo 89 is the buffalo of my village. Two powerful buffalos fight each other. After many fierce matches were the cheers of the audience. My village’s buffalo number 89 won. That buffalo will bring glory, pride and prosperity to your village. I really like the buffalo fighting festival because the buffalo fighting festival proves the prosperity of my hometown.
