S +said (that) + S + V(lùi thì) ( câu trên lùi thì HTTD → QKTD )

→ Peter told me he would help me whenever I needed him.
S + told + O (that) + S + V(lùi thì) ( ở vế đầu, lùi ‘will’ → ‘would’ , vế thứ 2 lùi thì HTĐ → QKĐ )
