Secondly, The State of New South Wales was declared as an emergency state because there were record-breaking temperatures and drought-one of the natural disasters-is caused. Nearly three billion terrestrial vertebrates alone – the vast majority being reptiles – were affected and some endangered species were believed to be driven to extinction. So what did the government of Australia do to help their people? Rescue workers have been sent to put out the forest fire and freed people and animals near the endangered areas.
