   1. The pandas were really cute and did things slowly.

   (Từ “cute” dùng để bổ nghĩa cho danh từ, ở đây là “The pandas” và tất nhiên phải đi kèm với to be là từ “were”, từ “and” sẽ giúp ta bổ sung thêm ý, “slowly”là một trạng từ, nó bổ nghĩa cho động từ “did”)

   2. The gorrillas moved quickly when Nam was at the zoo.

   (Như trên, trạng từ “quickly” bổ nghĩa cho động từ “moved”, “when” sẽ cho ta biết thời điểm nào, ở đây cụ thể là lúc Nam ở sở thú, “at the zoo” là một cụm từ nhìn vào là biết rồi, không nói nhiều)

   3. Mai liked the tigers because they were fast.

   (Ta biết hổ rất nhanh, nên là từ “fast” sẽ dành cho mấy con hổ, và tất nhiên phải có to be, “because” sẽ giúp ta nêu lý do. Ta có từ “liked”, và từ này sẽ hợp hơn khi dùng với “Mai” vì hổ thì thường không có cảm nghĩ)
